Thank you for your interest in ordering an Oberg guitar. This page will serve to inform you about the process of ordering, the waiting period, payment, delivery, and the warranty that comes with every Oberg guitar.

Ordering
Please fill out the order form you received with this document. In order to be placed on the waiting list you must make a $500.00 non-refundable deposit. If you are uncertain about any of the specifications, just choose what you think you want. Before I start construction of your instrument we will have a thorough discussion to finalize all of these decisions. Sign and date the form and mail it to me.

Waiting Period
When I receive your order form I will put your name at the bottom of the waiting list. At this time I can advise you as to approximately when I will start construction of the instrument. From that point delivery time will be in about 6-8 weeks.

Purchase
I will contact you when your name reaches the top of my waiting list, to let you know that I am starting construction of your guitar. When the woodworking is complete, and I am ready to begin the finish work, you will be required to pay half the balance. The remaining balance, plus the cost of shipping and tax if applicable, will be due when the instrument is complete, before delivery.

Delivery
When I have received the balance of your payment the instrument will be shipped via UPS 3 day select, insured for the full value. This way the instrument spends very little time in transit. You are responsible for all shipping costs.

Warranty
My new instruments come with a warranty that covers any defect in materials or workmanship for a period of 10 (ten) years from the date of completion. This warranty applies only to the original owner. I will not be responsible for any damage resulting from neglect, abuse, playing wear and tear, shipping, or changes in heat or humidity in excess of normal fluctuations. In the event of a repair covered under this warranty, I will split the shipping costs with the owner of the instrument. Your warranty will come with a number-this number is the same number that will be both on your invoice and on the label of your guitar. This allows me to track and reference each instrument accurately in the future.
