Oberg Guitars
is now offering instruction in classical guitar construction. The session(s) can
be structured to cover any area of building, from materials choice right through
to French polishing and set-up. One can build an instrument from start to finish,
or learn a single aspect of construction, for example bridge design and fabrication.
All
sessions take place in my shop in San Marcos, California, and are one-on-one,
focusing on economy of time and movement, background understanding of individual
design and construction components, and how each procedure fits into the overall
scheme of the design.
This is a great opportunity for the serious student
to shorten the learning curve and eliminate much of the time spent on trial and
